I have started some conversations with my local forest service, state parks, and tread lightly about building some new trails here in Wyoming that are geared towards rock crawling. There is an area north of my hometown that would rival the famous Rubicon trail.
Laramie Peak is composed mostly of Precambrian granite that rises up from the high plains (7200 ft) to around 10,200 feet. It was an historic landmark for pioneers along the Oregon trail.
